RULES GOVERNING DRAWING FOR AN AUTOMOBILE
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (a not-for-profit charitable organization) whose principal place of business is 3443 NW 55th Street, Bldg. 1, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309, will sponsor a drawing for a 2012 Ford Focus Titanium Edition. The drawing will be held at the AT&T JEB BUSH Florida Classic 65 Roses Gala on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10 p.m. The winner will be selected through a random, blind drawing of ticket entry forms from tickets distributed by representatives of the CF Foundation. Ticket entries must be completed, returned to and received by the CF Foundation before 9:30 p.m. on Friday, November 11, 2011.
No contribution is necessary.
Participants and winner must be 21 years or older, a U.S. resident, and have a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Tickets may be obtained through representatives of the CF Foundation, or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to the address above or by calling 954-739-5006. They also may be obtained at all BankAtlantic branches in Dade and Broward counties. Only official entries will be accepted. No facsimiles are permitted.
Officers, directors and employees of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their immediate family members living in the same household are not eligible to participate and win.
Vehicle MSRP $22,700. The winner will be responsible for any and all federal, state and local taxes (including but not limited to 25% withholding tax on the value of the prize). Withholding tax must be collected before the winner can take possession of the vehicle.
Odds of winning depend upon the total number of tickets distributed. No more than 1,000 tickets will be distributed. Drawing tickets are not tax-deductible.
Participants do not have to be present to win. The winner will be the person whose name appears upon the ticket entry form drawn at random. In the event the participant whose name is drawn cannot be contacted within five (5) days after the drawing, an alternate ticket entry form will be drawn at random and the participant whose name appears upon the alternate ticket entry form will be deemed the winner. Vehicle shall only be delivered in the state of Florida.
The CF Foundation retains sole discretion to determine, and shall be the final judge of, compliance with the rules and conditions of this drawing.
No substitution will be made for the advertised prize.
This drawing complies with all state and federal laws and regulations. Tickets are void where prohibited by law and the name of the winner will be disclosed as required by law.
Neither the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation nor its officers, directors or employees provide any warranties, express or implied, with respect to the car. Without limiting the foregoing, specifically, neither the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation nor its officers, directors or employees provide warranties of fitness for a particular merchantability or assume or authorize any other person to assume for them any other obligation or liability in
connection with the car or otherwise. Furthermore, neither the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, nor its officers, directors and/or employees assume any liability of any nature for any property loss, damage or personal injury occurring in connection with the vehicle and/or the drawing ceremony.
